When searching the term yoga one will find:
1. a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation.
2. the physical, mental, and spiritual practices or disciplines that aim to transform body and mind. The term denotes a variety of schools, practices and goals in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism, the best-known being Hatha yoga and Raja yoga. The term yoga is derived from the literal meaning of "yoking together" a span of horses or oxen, but came to be applied to the "yoking" of mind and body.
Sounds pretty right to me.
But yoga is MORE than that.
It's about showing up to your mat not knowing what is going to happen and being OK with that. It's about believing in yourself despite what others may say. It's believing you can do anything when everything seems impossible. It's about discovering who you truly are and what you are able to do; not only to yourself but others. It's learning now to be kind to yourself so you can then be kind to others. To take ownership of your life and learn and experience through practice, by doing. It is all about self- discovery and success within yourself.
It is the hardest thing you will ever do, but
the best decision you will ever make.
The planet does not need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more, peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers and lover of all kinds.

Yoga is amazing. You can't imagine how much strength you use and how sweaty you get by doing yoga. It clears your mind. You find yourself more relaxed. Good stuff!
